We recently moved and our new property is a dream. Located in Northern Calvert country in Owings MD in the Historic Lower Marlboro neighborhood. With 2 acres filled with rustic barns, fields, flowers, berry patches, arbors, lattice, and expansive views this location offers a private location with an incredible variety of shooting spots. You can also include indoor and outdoor shots when using this location.

Join me at the studio and we’ll shoot some poses outside AND indoors. This gives your gallery a nice variety without a long time investment of driving to different location. It also allows for more access to props.
The Annapolis Studio - Our second studio location
Our new commercial studio location is a great place for shorter sessions. This is where we will host indoor mini sessions. It also works well for branding and headshots. This space has our white and airy vibe but with moodier flare offering warm woods and darker accents. This space is well equipped with a state of the art “Artificial” Natural Light window. This allows for dreamy lit shots at any time of day in any weather.
wildberry farm + Market in Crownsville, MD
This gorgeous flower farm can be booked by appointment for your next photo shoot. I prefer to shoot 1-2 hours before sunset or 1-2 hours after sunrise. This location has a nominal fee for use.
Jonas Green Park in Annapolis, Maryland
This spot has a variety of water, pathways, and greenery. With view of the Naval Academy and bridge this spot allow for a nice variety of scenery in your images. This spot works best at sunset but also works well mid day.
State Circle in Downtown Annapolis
If you are looking for quant spots filled with texture make this downtown Annapolis spot your next shooting location. Great at sunset and early mornings. This area works well for casual family photos as well as more commercial corporate looks.
Terrapin Park Kent Island, Maryland
With a variety of fields, ponds, gravel and dirt paths that opens up to the Chesapeake Bay. The white sand is beautiful and has a ocean beach vibe. This location takes about 15 minutes of walking to get to the Bay with stops along the way for photos. This spot is best early in the morning, on cloudy days, and late in the day.
Greenbury Point Annapolis Maryland
This off the beaten path spot is located on the Naval Academy grounds across the Severn River. It has tall grasses and long paths, a large field, and a jetty along the water. This spot is great if you want to shoot without a lot of people around. It’s best to shoot here later in the day.
Downtown Annapolis
The sweet little streets along downtown offer a true Naptown portrait backdrop. These spots are great throughout the day and best to schedule avoiding downtown events like boat shows or Navy Graduations.
Kinder Farm Park - Millersville Maryland
Fall photos at the farm are great at Kinder Farm. There are so many spots that work throughout the day.
Sandy Point State Park Annapolis Maryland
Located along the Bay just below the Chesapeake Bay Bridge this spot is great for pathways, tall grasses, water, and quintessential Chesapeake Bay waterfront. This spot works best early in the morning, in overcast weather, and just before sunset.
Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis Maryland
Quiet Waters is the most popular family photography location in Annapolis. There are lots of beautiful spots that work throughout the day.
City Docks Downtown Annapolis Maryland
Interested in a nautical location? This is your spot. Keep in mind that it gets quite busy so an early morning shoot is best. You’ll also want to avoid boat shows and Navy events.
Prime Hook Haven Milford Delaware

Did I mention our new farm?
Located 40 minutes south of Annapolis in the Historic Lower Marlboro Neighborhood in Owings MD. This new spot is a destination well worth the drive. The farm house is 300+ years old and offers original log home charm with gorgeous acreage that are a photographers dream. We are also adjacent to a 200 acre farm adding stunning backdrops to images and just a few houses away you’ll find the a historic wharf on the Patuxent River.

The farm is animal friendly. We are also surrounded by livestock. Our adjacent neighbors have cows, pigs, goats, chickens, ducks, and dogs.
We are thrilled to offer our chic little greenhouse to our clients. It’s the perfect setting for a variety of photos from sweet sibling shots, to maternity and family. No green thumb required!
The new Loft Studio on site at the farm is a stunning location to shoot in. Offering 500 square feet of bright white space with charming distressed floors, shiplap, and cow pasture views this studio will offer a beautifully curated space for your next session. We are busy adding furnishing to this space and will share more soon. Bookings available at the farm in August 2021.
Our latest addition to Loft Haven Farm is our Boho Barn Studio. With an assortment of furnishings, textures, woods, and great light this spot is perfect for a rustic vibe for your next shoot.
