FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How many weddings do you photograph?

For years I averaged 12-20 weddings per year. Recently I've scaled back how many weddings I take each year to 5-6. These are usually couples with whom I have a personal connection to like a referral from a past client.

Do you have a professional camera?

I shoot with Canon 5D Mark iv and iii cameras which are professional level full frame cameras. All of my lenses are L series by Canon which is their professional line of lenses. I have plenty of gear and assorted back ups so I'm prepared in the event of an unforseen malfunction.

Can I skip the engagement session?

The engagement session is truly complimentary. It allows up time to spend together and get to know eachother. Instead of an engagement session you can choose to use the session for a day after, bridal, or anniersary session.

Who is your second shooter?

I'm really fortunate to work with some of the best photographers in our area. I have a few go to photographers that have covered many weddings with me. They are trusted and talented.

What happens if your sick on my wedding day?

I usually tell people that it would have to be a pretty major emergency for me to miss your wedding. I'd literally have to be on fire. In case I was on fire I have many friends in the industry and would do my best to find coverage. But really what are the chances I'll catch fire?

What do I do to book?

When you are ready to book I will send you an invoice and contract online via email. You'll be able to e-sign and pay your retainer right online. They invoice is your portal to any future payments as well. Once your contract is signed and your retainer is paid you are official.
