Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing a wonderful family on my farm in Owings, MD, with its breathtaking 200-acre view as the perfect backdrop. The expansive fields and rolling hills set a peaceful, natural scene where the family could truly relax and enjoy each other, resulting in genuine, heartfelt moments.

I’ve had the honor of photographing this family since mom was pregnant with their younger daughter, and it’s been amazing to watch their family grow. Their outfits for the session were thoughtfully coordinated—subtle shades of neutrals and muted lavenders that complemented the natural surroundings without being too bold or overwhelming. It was a fresh take on family photos, with each family member’s style shining through while still feeling cohesive.
