Let's Rent Props!

Beginning in Spring 2016 {JCP} will begin to offer high quality newborn and infant prop rentals. Our hope is that local photographers will have a resource to help grow their portfolio, providing their clients with more choices without compromising their finances with costly prop investment. Why you should rent:

A high quality scene for a newborn shoot can often costs hundreds of dollars. Once you buy the backdrop, floor drop, a rug, a wrap, a fur, a hat, and a bow you've made a hefty investment. When you're just starting, this investment often outweighs your profit. Then as your next client comes along, do you shoot them with all the same stuff?  That wouldn't be ideal. Renting would allow you to show a range of images in a much shorter amount of time, at a much more affordable cost. 

Maybe you aren't just starting out. You might be an established wedding photographer. What do you do when your newlyweds call you in 9 months and would like you, their photographer, to photograph their little bundle of joy? Having access to affordable, high quality materials will make that "Yes, of course" more feasible.
